Siberia is a vast Russian province that encompasses most of northern Asia. Its terrain includes tundra, coniferous forests, and mountain ranges such as the Urals, Altai, and the Verkhoyansk Mountains. To the south, Lake Baikal, the deepest lake in the world, is surrounded by a network of hiking trails known as the Great Baikal Trail. The Trans-Siberian Railway traverses Lake Baikal as it stretches from Moscow to the Sea of Japan.

The people of Irkutsk traditionally lived in dwellings such as yurts or chums, reflecting the unique cultural heritage of the region. Close to Irkutsk, Lake Baikal is renowned as the largest freshwater lake by volume in the world. Its vast expanse of pristine water makes it a place of unparalleled beauty and mystery.

This new performance involves incorporating a symbol of luck into a typical and traditional Irkutsk setting, where serenity and communion with nature prevail.
