In the Second Book of Kings, a book of the Old Testament of the Bible, the name Teglath-Phalazar-III appears. He was a particularly violent king of Assyria who invaded Israel, capturing Galilee and the territory of the tribe of Naphtali, and subsequently deporting the population to Assyria. In an attempt to reason with him, my assistants III and IV extended a hand of reconciliation towards his effigy located at the Louvre in Paris.
