December 15, 2020 – “Here… where the land ends and the sea begins,” was how Camões described Cabo da Roca in his famous book ‘Os Lusíadas’. Situated in Sintra, it marks the westernmost point of continental Europe, making it the perfect spot for a lucky charm.

In antiquity, up until 1492, Cabo da Roca held the distinction of being the westernmost point of the continent. It took Christopher Columbus, acting on behalf of King Ferdinand of Aragon, to discover America and shift that title. Since then, this little rocky outcrop has nearly faded into obscurity. We’re here to rectify that oversight.
